Bio:
I have more than twenty years of experience as a real estate broker (since the era of fax machines!) and I specialize in listing properties in all price ranges, assisting buyers in purchasing homes and working with investors to find rental and flip properties. In addition, I have bought, remodeled, decorated and re-sold 15+ of my own properties in a variety of markets, price points and neighborhood types and I possess the keen ability to recognize and assess potential remodeling/renovating opportunities as well as overall potential for profit (or loss) with each property.
I graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Communications/Advertising and from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Education. I have worked formerly as a freelance digital and print copywriter for national homebuilders in the Phoenix metropolitan area and a custom luxury homebuilder in San Diego County, California, and as a teacher (elementary, middle and high school grades; private and public schools). This combination of experience bolsters my ability to serve clients: as a teacher I became adept in mediating and resolving a myriad of issues and problems between students, parents and administrators. Additionally, my role as teacher seeps into each of my real estate transactions as I educate and guide clients. This enables us to together make the best, most well-informed and strategic decisions as we progress through the transaction. My experience working in advertising ensures that my clients’ listing verbiage, photos, video, brochures and everything associated with the sale and marketing of their property is deliberate, well-thought-out, edited, polished and professional.
As your agent you will find me to be smart, energetic, judicious, loyal, proactive, straight-forward, honest, dependable, discreet, diplomatic and client-focused. In fact, I pride myself not on how many transactions I complete – but on how satisfied my clients are!
My main office is in Waxhaw (Charlotte-Canopy Regional MLS including nearby South Carolina) and I have an affiliate office/MLS access with Cape Fear (Brunswick Islands: Ocean Isle Beach, Holden Beach, Sunset Beach, Oak Island are my specialty).

Personal:
I have been married to my husband Brandon for over 25 years and both of our children are in college: our son attends Coastal Carolina University (class of ’25) and our daughter attends the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill (class of ’27).
We have lived in Denver and Durango, Colorado as well as Phoenix, Arizona and San Diego, California and we now call Waxhaw home.
I was born in Cambridge, England when my father was a student at Cambridge University and I grew up on the Intracoastal Waterway/barrier island in Vero Beach, Florida where I attended Saint Edward’s Lower and Upper Schools. In addition I have spent a lot of time in Manhattan (Upper East Side) where my grandparents had an apartment on Park Avenue and where my dad currently resides. My paternal grandparents also had a home in rural Connecticut and my maternal grandparents lived in horse country near Princeton, New Jersey and in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. I have spent many summers in the Northeast! Additionally, my father had a home in Fort Worth when I was a girl so I have also spent many a sweltering summer in Texas. Other places I have lived outside of the aforementioned: Los Angeles, DC, Tallahassee, Breckenridge, Colorado and Atlanta.
I have been fortunate to have traveled to and spent considerable time in 48 of our 50 states (I still need to hit Wisconsin and North Dakota!) so I am familiar with different parts of the country which in turn means I am knowledgeable and well-versed about many neighborhoods and real estate markets. I have traveled abroad quite a bit (Central and South America as well as Europe) and my family has a home in Sintra, Portugal. I also read extensively and study the international real estate market as well as aspire to be versant in all aspects of the local, national and global economy.
I am a member of the Charlotte Alumni Chapter of Delta Gamma sorority, the Daughters of the American Revolution and I am a certified yoga instructor.
In my free time I enjoy dabbling in home interior design and decor, collecting antiques, reading classic literature (I am on a Tolstoy kick as of late), eating (too many) sweets, and traveling to Europe (17 countries and counting!), as well as skiing, fly fishing and flounder fishing with my family!
Currently my husband and I divide our time between Waxhaw and Ocean Isle Beach.
