June was a robust month in the Charlotte Regional Multiple Listing area in spite of the impacts from COVID-19.
The following graphics show a dearth of listings and a disproportionate amount of buyers – resulting in an inventory shortage and rising prices. Many of the market segments I follow have extremely low inventory: a 6 month supply of homes is considered balanced and it is not uncommon to see only a 1.2 months of supply in many areas in Charlotte Regional Multiple Listing Area. The trend of prices being up year-over-year and days on market down continues.
